<p>Memories from our trip to Greece—the ancient ruins, blue waters, winding streets, remarkable landscapes, delicious meals, and the many moments of laughter and discovery we shared with new friends along the way. These photographs capture only a small part of our experience.</p><p><br></p><p>Few destinations offer a connection to history as profound as Greece. More than 2,500 years ago, the ancient Greeks laid the foundations for ideas that continue to shape our world today—from democracy and philosophy to art, architecture, science, and literature. Their influence spread throughout the Mediterranean, leaving a legacy still evident in the remarkable places we visited on this journey.</p><p><br></p><p>From the Acropolis overlooking Athens to the ancient citadel of Mycenae, from the birthplace of the Olympic Games at Olympia to the sanctuary at Delphi, we walked among some of the most important sites of the ancient world. Our travels also took us beyond modern Greece to Kuşadası and nearby Ephesus in present-day <span style="color: rgb(32, 33, 34);">Türkiye</span>, where the reach of Greek civilization and, later, the Roman Empire can still be experienced through remarkably well-preserved ruins.</p><p><br></p><p class="ql-paragraph-2">Yet Greece is not simply a museum of antiquity. Today, it is a vibrant nation whose culture is rooted in thousands of years of history while embracing modern life. Across the country, ancient monuments stand alongside bustling cities, working harbors, family-owned tavernas, and island communities that continue traditions passed down through generations.</p>

<h2 class="ql-align-desktop-center"><span style="color: var(--primary_headings_color);">Galápagos Islands 2026</span></h2>

<p class="ql-paragraph-1 ql-align-desktop-left">Straddling the equator on South America's western edge, Ecuador is a diverse country packed into a relatively small area. The snowcapped peaks and volcanoes of the Andes run through its center, the Amazon rainforest stretches eastward, and a tropical coastal plain meets the Pacific to the west. Nearly 600 miles offshore lies an entirely different Ecuador — the Galápagos Islands.</p><p class="ql-paragraph-1 ql-align-desktop-left"><br></p><p>We landed on Baltra Island — and it didn't take long to realize we had arrived somewhere very different. We visited three islands: Santa Cruz, Bartolomé, and North Seymour. Each with its own beauty and personality. Take a look!</p>
